Hello Santa Cruz Artist,

As a potter with a studio and gallery for 12+ years, I have talked to many people both Locals and Tourists. They enjoy seeing the studio of the artist, glimpsing a bit of the creative process, they often want to take a piece of art home. A common question is, "Where are other Studios we can visit?"

This website is an answer: an ongoing listing, advertised in print publications, and on the web.

The project is just beginning, a calendar of open studios, artist portfolios, classes, events, other artist resources. The website is now live and being updated regularly.

The listing is free to the public, maps can be downloaded. A print copy of the artist list and calendar can be obtained for a small fee.

Artist Costs: There are levels of cost, depending on the services used by each artist.

• Basic cost - $95 per year  includes Artist listing with basic info, artist home page, monthly calendar updates, one picture, and link to web page if available.


• Second level cost is an additional $75 includes a portfolio page with up to 6 pictures. This page can be enabled for sales.


• Printed books cannot be changed once published, however the web can be edited, a proofreading update is included, monthly calendar updates with proofreading corrections included.


• Other changes including new pictures, picture scans, additional updates require a small fee.

Regular advertising is quite expensive for many artists, by joining resources, small regular ads that point to the website can benefit us all.  We will have an ad in the 2007 Goodtimes Visitor Guide, published beginning of summer. See ad below.
